Zebra 800274-605 Z-Select 4000T labels combine a 4" x 6" format with ultra-smooth, white topcoated paper and permanent acrylic adhesive. Each case contains 12 rolls of 475 labels, totaling 5,700 labels. A compatible thermal transfer ribbon is required and sold separately.

Material construction

The Z-Select 4000T material combines a 2.7 mil white topcoated paper facestock, a 0.5 mil permanent acrylic adhesive layer and a 2.5 mil, 40 lb. semi-bleached kraft liner. Total construction thickness is 5.7 mil ±10%. Its ultra-smooth surface supports high-quality thermal transfer printing, including high-speed applications, with a suitable ribbon and printer setup.

Applications

Use these 4" x 6" labels for packaging identification, product identification, shipping layouts, work-in-process tracking and compliance-label workflows. Match the label layout to your software and application requirements. The paper construction is intended for indoor use and is not recommended for outdoor exposure.

Printer and ribbon selection

Select a thermal transfer printer that supports the media width, 1" core, 5" roll diameter and material thickness. A printer's print width alone does not establish roll compatibility. Use a compatible wax or wax/resin ribbon matched to your printer's ribbon dimensions, winding and application requirements. Zebra's material sheet evaluates the 2000, 6000 and 6100 ribbon families; select the appropriate available ribbon configuration for your exact printer.

Exposure guidance

Test print readability and adhesion for the intended end use. The material sheet lists alcohol, ammonia, bleach, IPA, gasoline, grease, oil, acetone, MEK, TCE and xylene as not recommended exposures with its evaluated ribbon combinations. Do not treat these paper labels as solvent-resistant or outdoor-rated media.
