Material construction

Z-Select 4000T combines a 2.7 mil white topcoated paper facestock, a 0.5 mil permanent acrylic adhesive layer and a 2.5 mil, 40 lb. semi-bleached kraft liner. Total construction thickness is 5.7 mil ±10%. Its ultra-smooth surface supports high-quality printing, including high-speed applications with a suitable ribbon and printer setup.

Applications

The square label face provides space for barcodes and text in packaging identification, product identification, work-in-process tracking and compliance-label workflows. Match the layout to your software and information requirements. Use this paper material indoors; it is not recommended for outdoor exposure.

Check the exact model's media sensing and ribbon requirements; print width alone does not establish roll compatibility. Use a compatible wax or wax/resin ribbon with the correct dimensions, core and winding for your printer. Exposure guidance

Test the complete label-and-ribbon combination for the intended end use. Alcohol, ammonia, bleach, IPA, gasoline, grease, oil, acetone, MEK, TCE and xylene are not recommended exposures with the ribbon combinations evaluated in the material sheet. These paper labels are not a substitute for solvent-resistant or outdoor-rated media.
